Rocking on Bike INNO-B4 - 4 Days Cycling in Mekong Delta

We will cycle through many provinces: Long An, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Thap and An Giang. The cycling trip will be divided into many periods so that we can cross small shady canals and branches of The Mekong River as well as visit green rice fields and lovely fruit farms. Enjoying boat trips on floating market and a rowing boat trip on a bird sanctuary are special points of the trip. Moreover, we will spend one night at a home stay family locating on an island. Day 01 Saigon –Long An – Vinh Long(-, L, D)

07:00 Start the trip by car to Long An province.

08:30: Cycling from Long An to Tien Giang and pass the river by a big dense ferry to have a general look at the mild landscape of the river and local people. Then, we get into smaller roads and enjoy the fresh air and nice views. Here you will also catch warm and friendly greeting smiles of local people.

11:00: Car brings us to Vinh Long. Here we stop to have lunch and relax at a lovely restaurant with lots of delicious traditional cuisines.
14:30: Our private car picks us up at the restaurant and brings us back to home stay family. We keep cycling for two hours to get to the home stay on a small island at Vinh Long. Here you will have time to get acquainted with the hosts and take part in their small cooking class. After having dinner, you can relax on the hammocks.

Day 02 Vinh Long – Long Xuyen – Chau Doc(B, L, D)

06:30 Take a boat trip to visit a local floating market to see how local people live and earn their livings on the boats .

Come back to homestay family and enjoy your breakfast.

08:00: Cycling for 2 and a haft hours to find out more about local lives on the island and then go back to National Highway 1 where the car picks us up to Long Xuyen.

13:00 Have lunch at a local restaurant and relax.

14:00 Cycling for 2 hours from Long Xuyen to Chau Doc, then, car takes us to Chau Doc where we have a short trekking to Sam mountain, a holy land of Vietnamese with spectacular view of sunset.

18:30 Check in hotel

Day 03 Chau Doc – Sa Dec – Cao Lanh(B, L, D)

07:00 Car brings us to Long Xuyen, stop for cycling around an island and visit the biggest church in Mekong Delta.

13:00 Having lunch at a local food stall and relax.

14:30 Cycling for 2 hour to see the bird sanctuary and enjoy a boat trip to get in to the heart of the bird sanctuary.

17:30 car brings us to Cao Lanh. check in hotel. Have dinner and sleep well.

Day 04 Cao Lanh- Tien Giang- Sai Gon(B, L, -)

07:00 Car brings us to Tien Giang, start cycling 2 hours along the bank of Upper Mekong, get in to small picturesque village roads with many fruit farms.

13:00 Stop for lunch, relax.

02: 00 Car brings us to My Tho, keep cycling about 2 hours to Long An.

17:00 Car back to Innoviet Office, 203 Pham Ngu Lao or your hotel.

18:30 End trip!
