This tour will take you to non-touristy places. The daily views and experiences are priceless. In addition to your boat trips there are on shore excursions including bicycle trips which provide an up-close way view of local life. Amongst the highlights are an amazing island view, rice growing and homestay where you can socialise with the locals, floating markets, and a very busy and colourful land maket.

Day 1: Saigon - Vinh Long
07:30 Start the trip by taxi to the boat station. Get an express boat trip (if available) to Vinh Long; this is an amazing trip. You will pass through different views from Vam Co Dong river to the Upper and Lower Mekong River, along the wide river and small canals as well.
11:00 Arrive at a small village - non touristy town in Vinh Long Province, only available to Innoviet Tours. Take a boat around the island, here you will see daily activities of the local people along the river, You can observe how people make their living from the fruit trees, rivers.
13:00 Motor boat brings you to the homestay, get acquainted with the family. Here you will have lunch with the host family. Relax.
15:00 Walk around village, go to a garden, get some tropical fuits and then try to cross a river on monkey bridge. Ride tour bike ( about 2 hours) around the village shaded by banana, rambutan and pomelo trees, passing the immense green rice fields admiring the baautiful scenery. You will see the local children making thier way to and from school in their beautiful AO DAI uniform. Visit somes houses to meet the local poeple and see thier real life, being greated by their warmly welcome in process. You will learn some tropical plant names and try to guess the names of them just by your nose!
18:00 Back to the family, prepare for dinner. At night, we row a boat through the canals and observe fire-flies before sleeping in one of the typical houses of the Mekong Delta.
Day 2: Vinh Long - Can Tho.
6:30 am Visit the floating market in the early morning and see how people there live and trade. The boat will take us to see some traditional local bricks and visit a local temple, rice paper workshop where you can also participate in making rice paper.
You will walk through the fruit gardens and fields, feed the fish and help to cultivate farm products. Then you will also have the chance to participate in making Vietnamese rice papers at a local house and head back home to join in making lunch (spring rolls or banh xeo). You can enjoy your meal, take a rest, and say goodbye to the host family.
3:00 Local boat to Can Tho ( one and half. Check in hotel. Have free time in the biggest in the delta
Day 3 Can Tho - Saigon
7:00 Take a small boat (5 hours) to see Cai Rang floating market, the biggest in Mekong Delta. Then take a slow boat trip along the small beautiful canals, on the way stop to see a rice noodle factory. rice milling factory and vegetable garden. Have lunch and then return to Saigon.
