This tour will take you to a non-touristy place. This tour is valuable because every day their are amazing views and experiences. Amongst the highlights are an amazing island view, rice growing and capet making village, homestay where you can interact with local people, a visit to a big floating market and ghost market, Egret garden, nurcerier, ancient house, cooking Vietnamese dishes and boat trip along the river.

Day 1: Saigon - Vinh Long - Can Tho
07:30: Start the trip by taxi to the boat station. Get an express boat trip (if available) to Vinh Long, this is an amazing trip. You will pass through different landscapes from Vam Co Dong to the upper and lower Mekong River, through wide river and small canals.
11:00 Arrive at a small village and non-touristy town in Vinh Long Province, only available at Innoviet Tours. Take a boat around the island, here you will see daily activities of the local people along the river. You can observe how people make their living from the fruit trees, rivers. rice industry.
13:00 Motor boat brings you to the homestay where you can get acquainted with your host family. Here you will have lunch with the host family. Relax.
15:00 Walk around village, go to a garden, get some tropical fuits and then try to cross a river on monkey bridge. Visit the local floating market and see how people there live and trade. Protect Mekong enviroment by collecting plastic bags along Mekong river. See some traditional local industries: brick, temple, participate in making rice paper.
15.30pm: One and a half hour local ferry trip to Can Tho, arriving at 18:00 then check into your hotel.
19:00 Dinner at a local food stall, followed by an evening of leisure.
Day 2: Can Tho - Dong Thap
6:30 Take a boat trip (four hours) to see Cai Rang floating market and learn how to make local products such as rice noodle. Next take a slow boat to some small canals and visit a vegetable garden.
15:00 Get an express local bus to the Bang Lang bird garden, spend one hour watching the egrets fly back after hard working day. Cross the lower Mekong to a village by boat and have dinner at homestay. Have dinner with your host family. After that we walk to the ghost market to see what is carried out there. Take a rest after a joyful day and sleep at your homestay.
Day 3: Dong Thap - Saigon
08:00 After breakfast, you will bicycle around the village. Head to Sadec by car to see nurcerier, Huynh Thuy Le's ancient house, which is famous for the novel "The Lover" . Visit the Huong Pagoda.
12:00 Have lunch, relax.
13:30 Car back to Ho Chi Minh city
17:30 Welcome back to Innoviet Office.
